My question would be; is this the best learning practices for all students? I would not support this model.  I would not support it because I feel the balance is shifted to far on the technology side. I also feel that this is an additional step for teachers to add to their planning day.

second post

I have not spoken, which spoke volumes about my accent. I know that I am in a foreign land.
We can spotlight for both of these groups that they have similar goals in common, the way in which they reach them doesn't need to be as different as they think.
As a not tech savvy person, I feel that these concerns are still valid. In my opinion the educational world has not or can not totally keep up with the ever changing world of technology.

Yes, I would like to use a blog in my room for parents to access classroom information.
Parents can access my classroom info at anytime.
I might not be able to figure out how to blog/post .
I'm not sure how a blog is different from a website. A blog is more interactive?
A blog could replace my weekly newsletter I send home.
